About Us

Empowering healthier choices through digital health education

Who We Are

Health ED Interactive is a youth-powered digital health education initiative that seeks to radically improve how young people across Africa access, engage with, and act on critical health information. We exist at the intersection of technology, health equity, and innovation — built by and for the digital generation.

We are just getting started. But even in these early days, our mission is clear: to unlock access, spark learning, and fuel agency through health education that’s inclusive, data-driven, and locally grounded.

Vision

A future where every young person — no matter their background or device — has the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take control of their health and well-being.

Mission

To democratize digital health education in Africa by building platforms, resources, and experiences that inspire informed decisions, challenge stigma, and empower young lives.

Why We Exist

  • 🚫 Health misinformation is spreading faster than truth.
  • 📱 Young people are online, but underserved by trustworthy, relatable content.
  • 🌍 Traditional health systems aren't reaching everyone — digital tools can.

What Makes Us Different

We’re not just digital. We’re interactive, local, youth-led, and equity-first. Our programs are co-created with young people, centered in community, and rooted in human rights.

Our Core Values

Equity

We believe access to health education is a right — not a privilege.

Creativity

We use storytelling, tech, and youth culture to break through the noise.

Collaboration

We build with communities, not for them. Partnerships power our mission.

Integrity

We’re transparent, honest, and accountable — always.

Our Story

Health ED Interactive was born in 2025 out of a deep frustration with the health knowledge gap among youth in underserved communities. Our founder, a youth activist and digital advocate, saw firsthand the devastating impact of silence, stigma, and confusion around key health issues — from sexual and reproductive health to mental well-being.

From a laptop in Mbabane, Eswatini, the dream began: a vibrant, accessible, and culturally relevant digital platform for health empowerment. Now, we're building the movement — one resource, one youth leader, one community at a time.
